Prayers for Sweet Sleep

LORD, on the basis of Your Word, I pray that when I lie down, I will not be afraid; when I lie down, my sleep will be sweet. Grant me blessings of healing, provision, and wisdom while I sleep tonight. Guard me from all unpleasant dreams, and keep my surroundings quiet and calm. Grant that I may wake up feeling totally rested, refreshed, and energized—ready to face the new day, and filled with joy. Thank You that I will lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety! (Proverbs 3:24; Psalm 127:2; Psalm 4:8)
